2020 Highlights

While 2020 was a year of lowlights throughout the world, we did have some highlights in Americana. Some of the best finds of the year included a pair of early 19th century hand-cut silhouettes portraits of James and Dolley Madison, an outstanding pastel portrait of George Washington by James Sharples Sr and my personal favorite, a large stipple engraving of Alexander Hamilton. The extraordinary finds have already started in 2021; stay tuned!
