A well-preserved early American historical flask honoring Andrew Jackson and George Washington, produced at the renowned Coventry Glass Works. This medium olive-yellow half-pint example features an open pontil, sheared edges, and a finely tooled lip. The glass displays a strong, crisp impression with numerous minute air bubbles characteristic of early American manufacture.
Historical flasks of this type reflect the growing use of molded glass as a vehicle for political imagery in the Jacksonian era, uniting martial fame and presidential iconography in a distinctly American medium.
