Engraved view depicting the Siege of Rhode Island near Tiverton during one of the earliest joint operations between American and French forces in the Revolutionary War. The campaign involved American commanders including John Hancock, Nathanael Greene, and the Marquis de Lafayette, supported by the French fleet under the Comte d’Estaing.
