Additionally, the punched tin lantern from this election features the inscription "Clay Forever" on its straight-sided cylindrical body, adorned with two stars and intricate geometric designs. The tapered cone top is decorated with three hearts and two stars. The door, which provides ventilation and allows light to shine through, also displays a star and a Masonic symbol. A wire hanger and tin loop are attached to the top for convenient display and hanging. The original door latch and two hinges remain intact. Despite general oxidation, this item retains its original form and serves as an impressive piece of historical campaign memorabilia.
