SNCC "Is He Protecting You?" Iconic Civil Rights Poster Featuring Danny Lyon's Photograph

This offset lithograph, produced on thin uncoated stock by the Lincoln Lithograph Company, was issued by the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, located at 8 ½ Raymond Street, Atlanta, GA. The poster prominently features an image of a Mississippi Highway Patrol officer accompanied by the text, "Is He Protecting You?" Captured by SNCC staff photographer Danny Lyon, this image is part of a series of five posters that have become iconic representations of the civil rights movement.

Condition: There is a slight crease in the top left corner, but otherwise, the poster exhibits only minor handling wear and a hint of minor foxing on the verso. Overall, it remains in excellent condition and presents as a striking and powerful piece of civil rights history, perfect for framing.
