The image presents Wright standing formally before a neutral background, offering a clear and direct portrait of one of the central figures in the birth of modern aviation.
The photograph is credited to Waldon Fawcett, the noted journalist and photographer who documented numerous figures and developments associated with the early aviation movement. The verso bears three Brown Brothers agency stamps, along with a photographer’s service label and a pencil caption, consistent with period press-distribution practices.
