A striking antiwar pinback button bearing the bold slogan “GET OUT OF VIETNAM” across a stylized globe, with the words “International Days of Protest, March 25–26” and “VDC” below. The button was issued for the Second International Days of Protest, a coordinated series of demonstrations against the Vietnam War held across the United States and internationally in March 1966. The VDC, or Vietnam Day Committee, was a leading antiwar organization that helped coordinate early national protests and demonstrations against American involvement in Vietnam. The unusually large format and direct graphic design make this a particularly vivid example of Vietnam War protest ephemera.
