The Rolling Stones — Candlestick Park, San Francisco, October 17–18, 1981
Set of Four Unused Concert Tickets (PSA Graded)
Each approx. 2¼ x 7½ inches
A group of four original unused concert tickets for The Rolling Stones’ performances at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, presented by Bill Graham during the band’s celebrated 1981 “Tattoo You” tour. The concerts took place on October 17 and October 18, 1981, a tour widely remembered as one of the defining stadium rock spectacles of the era.
The tickets feature the iconic Rolling Stones “tongue and lips” logo at center, surrounded by bold red and blue color schemes and graphic elements drawn from the visual style associated with the Tattoo You album. The concerts were supported by notable opening acts The J. Geils Band and George Thorogood & The Destroyers, adding to the historic stature of the performances.
Each ticket is professionally authenticated and encapsulated by PSA. The two examples dated October 18, 1981 are graded PSA Mint 9, while the two examples dated October 17, 1981 are graded PSA Mint 9 and PSA NM–MT 8, respectively.
Well-preserved unused tickets from major Rolling Stones stadium tours remain highly collectible artifacts of late twentieth-century rock history, particularly when professionally graded and preserved.
